Cat's Grandpa's Birthday, April 2012!

Cat ordered a cake for her grandfather's birthday.  A chocolate lover's cake made with chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, and chocolate ganche.  This was a fun, rich cake to make for a great friend.

Uschi built his favorite cake and I added the marzipan, writing, and toasted almonds. 

Samantha's Sweet 16

Samantha's Sweet 16 Birthday cake consists of Chocolate Cake, Strawberry Mousse, and Buttercream.  The design and colors were brought to me to duplicate and a few variations were requested. 

Thanksgiving Pies for Byron C. November 24, 2011.

This Thanksgiving I was filling a pie order for Byron and Mary's family reunion.  I made 8 pies total, two lemon meringue, two pecan, two pumpkin, and two butterscotch.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Nicole Courtney's Wedding Cake Sept. 10th 2011

My favorite part about this cake was the yummy top tier the bride and groom will enjoy after honeymooning!  Per the groom's request, the top tier is a chocolate cake with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup filling.  How delicious!  The other tiers are either chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream or white cake with chocolate buttercream.  
Bride's colors were an Apple Red -(David's Bridal swatch), Black, and Ivory.  Fresh mini roses were taped and added on site provided by florist.

Dave's Birthday---March 2011

Aimee was planning for us to come over and surprise her husband with a pre-birthday party by a few nights and called to see if I could bring a cake.  His favorite was German Chocolate, so of course that's what I made!  Pulled out Grandma's recipe and decided to do toasted coconut on the sides as well since this cake really is about the coconut filling!

YMCA Cake for Prize Winner - March 2011

Volunteered to make a cake for tonight's party for the Woodfin YMCA, and this was the cake that I decided to make and gift to them.  It's Chocolate Cake, Buttercream, Fresh Strawberries, White Cake, Buttercream, Fresh Strawberries, Chocolate Cake and more Buttercream!
