Happy Birthday Curt! March 23rd, 2013



A wonderful returning customer ordered her husband this richly delicious cake!  Created with a raspberry cremeux, chocolate cake, and chocolate buttercream as well as a touch of raspberry preserves and fresh raspberries made this cake one of my personal favorites to eat!  (Yes...guilty, I ate the scraps!)  This cake was a delight to envision and the components took a couple days.  First cooking down raspberries, pushing through a chinois, cooking the raspberry cream and finally blending it into emulsion!
